Doesnt work with update

I attempted to use transit tracker yesterday, only for it to tell me that I needed to update the app in order to continuer to use it. So,
I updated it... And now it doesnt work. I tap the icon on my home screen, it opens for a couple of seconds, and then closes itself and brings me back to home screen. I dont know if this is a ubiquitous problem or specific to me, but its extremely annoying.
